Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: May 2026

Welcome to BAD GYAL. By placing an order, paying a deposit, or booking catering services through  BADGYALKitchen.com clients agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. BOOKING & DEPOSITS

A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to secure your event date and time.

Dates are NOT reserved until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event date.

If final payment is not received by the due date, BAD GYAL reserves the right to cancel services without refund of the deposit.

2. MANDATORY SERVICE CHARGE

All catering orders are subject to a mandatory 18% service charge.

This service charge covers all costs associated with your event:

  • Staffing
  • Transportation
  • Setup & breakdown
  • Equipment
  • Fuel & travel
  • Administrative costs
  • Food handling
  • Service preparation
  • Operational expenses associated with your event

The service charge is not a gratuity.

Additional gratuity for staff is appreciated but not required.

3. MINIMUMS & GUEST COUNTS

BAD GYAL reserves the right to require minimum guest counts depending on the service selected. (Min. 25)

Final guest count must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the event.

Once confirmed, guest counts cannot be reduced.

Increases in guest count are subject to product availability and approval.

4. PAYMENT METHODS

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit/debit cards
  • Zelle
  • Apple Pay
  • Cashier-certified payments
  • Other approved payment methods

Returned payments, chargebacks, or disputed transactions may result in legal collection efforts and cancellation of future services.

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

Client Cancellations

More Than 30 Days Before Event

  • Deposit remains non-refundable
  • Any additional payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded at BAD GYAL’s discretion

14–30 Days Before Event

  • 75% of the total event cost is non-refundable

Less Than 14 Days Before Event

  • 100% of all payments made are non-refundable

This is due to staffing, food ordering, preparation, scheduling, and operational costs already committed to your event.

6. RESCHEDULING POLICY

Clients may request one event reschedule with at least 14 days notice.

Rescheduled events are subject to:

  • Availability
  • Current pricing
  • Updated menu costs
  • New event date approval

Deposits may transfer one time only.

Last-minute reschedule requests are not guaranteed.

7. LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS

Events booked within:

  • 7 days of the event date may incur a 10% rush fee
  • 72 hours of the event date may incur a 20% rush fee

Rush bookings are subject to staff and product availability.

8. EVENT ACCESS & SETUP

Clients are responsible for providing:

  • Safe and legal event access
  • Adequate setup space
  • Electricity access if required
  • Parking/loading access
  • Any required venue permissions

BAD GYAL reserves the right to refuse unsafe or unreasonable working conditions.

Additional setup or wait times beyond the agreed service window may result in additional charges.


9. FOOD SERVICE & LIABILITY

Once food has been served or delivered, BAD GYAL is not responsible for:

  • Food left out beyond safe serving temperatures
  • Improper food storage by the client
  • Allergic reactions or dietary restrictions not disclosed in advance

Clients are responsible for informing guests of any potential allergens.

Menu items and ingredients may change based on availability and market conditions.


10. DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT

Clients are financially responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to:

  • Chafing dishes
  • Serving equipment
  • Decor items
  • Rental equipment
  • Catering supplies

Replacement or repair fees will be charged accordingly.


11. PHOTOS & MARKETING

BAD GYAL reserves the right to photograph and/or video events for promotional and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before the event.


12. FORCE MAJEURE

BAD GYAL shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Power outages
  • Government restrictions
  • Emergencies
  • Accidents
  • Circumstances beyond reasonable control

13. PRICING & MENU CHANGES

Prices, menu items, packages, staffing costs, and service fees are subject to change at any time without notice.

Previously confirmed and fully contracted events will honor agreed pricing unless substantial client-requested changes are made.


14. AGREEMENT

By submitting payment, signing a contract, or booking services with BAD GYAL, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
